HANNE LIPPARD

AUTOFOFFICE war die erste institutionelle Einzelausstellung der Künstlerin Hanne Lippard (*1984) in der Schweiz. Die in Berlin lebende, norwegische Künstlerin ist Ars Viva – Preisträgerin 2016. Hanne Lippards Arbeiten basieren auf selbstgeschriebenen Texten, die sie in performativen Lesungen und Audioarbeiten umwandelt. Ihre Texte handeln meist von Zeitgeist-Themen, wie Arbeit, Erfolg oder schlicht Alltagsphänomenen. Oft sind ihre Texte auch Aufzählungen verschiedener, für unsere Zeit charakteristischer Sprachformeln, die von ihr in unterschiedlicher Intonation gesprochen wie eine Erzählung klingen.
Für die Ausstellung in Rapperswil zeigte Hanne Lippard eigene Audioarbeiten und Installationen und kollaborierte an zwei Abenden mit den Künstlern Steven Warwick, Nora Turato und PRICE. Die für die Ausstellung entwickelte Installation diente dabei als Bühne.

AUTOFOFFICE was the first institutional solo exhibition of artist Hanne Lippard (*1984) in Switzerland. The Berlin-based Norwegian artist is the Ars Viva prize winner of 2016. Lippard’s work is founded on texts that she writes and transforms into performative readings and audio works. The texts largely deal with contemporary themes, such as work, success, or everyday life. Often her texts are lists of linguistic formula typical of our time, which are spoken by the artist in different intonations to lend them the sound of a narrative. For the exhibition in Rapperswil, Lippard presented not only her own sound works and installations but also on two evenings she engaged in a collaborative performance with artists Steven Warwick, Nora Turato, and PRICE, for which the installation developed for the exhibition served as a stage for the collaboration.
